ContiTech gains deal with axle maker BPW

ContiTech's airspring unit has agreed a strategic partnership with BPW Bergische Achsen Kommanditgesellschaft.Conti described its new partner as the European market leader in the manufacture of axles and running gear for towed vehicles.Synergy between ContiTech's expertise in air spring systems and BPW's in running gear will allow the partnership to offer running gear to the commercial vehicle market,"featuring state-of-the-art technology,and optimally equipped to meet international market requirements,"said a ContiTech statement.Conti and BPW will carry out joint product development,production and marketing.
