Tyre labelling is a serious issue which is likely to affect the industry in deep and maybe unexpected ways. At the very least, said Francesco Gori, president of the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (etrma), "we have to be sure there are not any non-compliant tyres imported which claim certain performance, but do not match them and are selling for half the price."
