Conti claims climate-neutral printing blankets

Northeim, Germany -ContiTech claims that converting its print-blanket production to calendered line rather than a coating process has enabled it to develop a climate-neutral process for making its printing blankets. The new process reduces by 70 percent CO2 emissions, and the remainder is being offset by a tree-planting project in the Central American state of Panama. ContiTech sells the climate-neutral printing blankets in its Conti-Air HC line-up under the Pure Printing label.
