Alfagomma buys Dunlop Hiflex hose operation

ALFA COMMA SPA,THE HOLDING COMPANY OF ITALIAN hose-making group Alfagomma,has acquired UK-headquartered hydraulic hose supplier Dunlop Hi-flex Group,in a transaction which took effect 14 Dec 2005.UK-based Dunlop Hiflex has "a significant distribution network in most northern European countries," said the Italian group in its announcement.As well as its UK unit,Dunlop Hiflex has operations in Denmark,Finland,Germany,Norway and Sweden.
