Adventures with Ainsley Iggo in the exploration of mammalian electroreception.

I first met Ainsley Iggo through my friend and teacher, Archie Mclntyre. Back in 1950, Ainsley had graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Physiology, Otago University, New Zealand. At the time, Archie was a senior lecturer in the department and he saw quite a bit of Ainsley. Archie was impressed by the manual dexterity and intellectual insight demonstrated by Ainsley in his work. As a result, they became lifelong friends.
