Fundamental Work on Saline Soils of Russia

摘要

Many-year work devoted to systematization and generalization of investigation data on salt-affected soils of Russia has recently been finished. It was performed by a large group of scientists from the Dokuchaev Soil Science Institute of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (E.I. Pankova, A.F. Novikova, G.I. Cher-nousenko, T.V. Korolyuk, M.I. Skripnikova, LA. Yam-nova, and Yu.A. Slavnyi) with the participation of scientists form other research and educational institutes: the Faculty of Soil Science of Moscow State University (L.A. Vorob'eva), the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (I.M. Gadzhiev and T.N. Elizarova), the Scientific Geoinformation Center of the RussianAcademy of Sciences (I.N. Gorokhova), the Department of Soil Science of Irkutsk State University (O.G. Lopa-tovskaya), and the Department of Soil Science of Saratov State University (G.G. Reshetov). This fundamental work was edited by Academician of theRussian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Prof. L.L. Shishov and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences E.I. Pankova and published in 2006 by Akademkniga, Moscow.
