Moroccan growers are targeting Russia as a burgeoning market for their fresh produce exports, leading the CMPE to launch a media campaign there to boost the African country's imaqe. WITH the EU import market becoming increasingly stringent in its requirements, produce exporters from Morocco are touting for business further afield, and their first port of call now for several years has been Russia. "As per usual this season, this market will remain vital for Moroccan exporters," says Salah Atouf of agro-industry services at Morocco's centre for export promotion, the CMPE. The CMPE is launching a media and communication campaign in Russia, especially for citrus and vegetable products.
