Composition and Diagnostic Characters of the luteolus Group, Genus Chrysopilus Macq. (Diptera, Rhagionidae)

Detailed characteristics of the species Ch. luteolus (Fallen), Ch. auricollis (Meig.), Ch. binotatus Loew, and Ch. nubecula (Fallen) are given based on the published descriptions and analysis of morphological characters of the own material. A new species, Ch. subluteolus sp. n., is described and a new name, Ch. beckeri Krivosheina, nom., n. is proposed for Ch. unicolor Becker, nom. praeocc, non Brunetti, 1909.
