Myriant Establishing JV with UPC Sojitz For Biosuccinic Acid-Based Plasticizers

Quincy— Myriant Corp. last week announced it has formed a joint venture with UPC and Sojitz to develop and promote biosuccinic acid-based plasticizers. Plasticizers producer UPC will use Myriant's biosuccinic acid to produce bio-based, phthalate-free plasticizers. Sojitz, Myriant's sales and marketing partner, will work with UPC for the sale of UPC's bio-based plasticizers.
