Are the views of younger energy industry people generally different to those of more-established figures? Probably, and the experience of a group of young energy industry participants at this year's World Energy Congress seems to confirm this, as Emily Spearman reports. At this year's World Energy Congress, which was held in Montreal in September and attended by 7000 delegates, a special programme was set up for potential future energy leaders. 150 delegates from over 40 countries, aged between 25 and 35, were selected to represent their countries on this programme so as to enable the future leaders to exchange opinions and ideas on energy and energy related issues facing the global community.
