For both economic and ecological reasons, proactive forging press line operators call for new and innovative solutions to significantly improve the productivity and energy efficiency of their production equipment and reduce their carbon footprint. Up to now the main focus has been on optimizing the energy efficiency of induction heating equipment by implementing Dynamic Energy Management technologies. This has achieved significant improvements in energy efficiency in this area and now forgers are turning their focus onto other energy consuming areas such as the press drive itself.
