New rail straightening line for Panzhihua, P.R. of China

In February 2002, Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co. awarded Danieli Morgardshammar the order for a new rail straightening line for its high-speed rail production plant in Sichuan Province. The new line, made up of a rail manipulator and a combined 9-horizontal/7-vertical-roll straightening machine, will be installed at delivery side of the cooling bed for on-line straightening of up to 75 kg/m, 103-m-ling quenched rails for high-speed railways, at a rated capacity of over 240 tph, Danieli Automation will supply the electricals and controls.
