The 9th India International Refractories Congress-IREFCON 2012 'back to the world of refractories'

The Indian International Refractories congress (IREFCON) was conceived in 1993 when India was just opening up to global economic and trade relations. IREFCON provides an excellent platform to exchange information, experiences and ideas, to learn and to update the refractory industry in as many aspects of refractories development and indications as possible.IREFCON 2012 is the ninth in the series of bi-annual international conferences providing an important interface between the Indian and theinternational refractories industries, and the users of refractories like steel, cement, non-ferrous metals, glass, etc. This is scheduled to be organized from 1st to 4th February 2012 at Hotel Taj Bengal, Kolkata, the hub of Eastern India and close to resource and growth centres for coal and steel. In addition to producers and users of refractories, suppliers of refractory raw materials, equipment and machinery, testing apparatus, R&D institutions and consultants will be closely involved, besides design and consultancy organizations. The Indian Refractory Makers Association (IRMA) is the organizer of the Conference.
