Nuclear liability, fiscal dexterity and energy futures

It's understood that transition to a low carbon economy will involve major structural change to the way we source, produce, manage,use, and conserve energy. As part of this, the coalition government and the nuclear industry have plans for a series of Generation III reactors, each containing 2.5 times the radiological inventory of the UK's biggest reactor at Sizewell. However, this proposal is complicated by current economic constraints that may limit investment capacity.
