SocEnv report sets new priorities for the next government

A report was launched in Westminster in March by Tony Juniper, President, Society for the Environment (SocEnv), offering a diverse menu of policy ideas from 12 professional bodies, including the EI, and Policy Connect. The main points raised in the report include: 1.The importance of the UK leading on climate agreements and embedding the environment across education in order to challenge and change behaviours. 2.Supporting the call for a Nature and Wellbeing Bill, a new Air Quality Strategy and highlighting the vital importance of soil protection.
