Lithium-ion batteries power Peugeot electric scooters

Industrial battery technology company Saft has added two-wheeled vehicles to the list of its innovations by developing new modules of lithium-ion batteries for Peugeot's latest scooter, the e-Vivacity. Modern, easy to ride, practical and combining performance with respect for the environment (zero carbon dioxide emission), the eco-citizen e-Vivacity scooter, equipped with Saft's new generation lithium-ion batteries, is said to be capable of accelerations from standstill equal to those of many 125 cm3 combustion models, despite being a 50 cm3 equivalent model.
