摘要

This paper deals with the prediction of turbulent mixing of two parallel non-isothermal supersonic streams with strong near wall effects to assess the performance of different turbulence models in capturing the complex compressible flow-field. The time-dependent, compressible, mass-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved based on the explicit time-split MacCormack algorithm and a finite volume formulation. Effects of turbulence are simulated by the algebraic BaldwinLomax model along with a relaxation model which accounts for the upstream turbulence history effects. A low-Reynolds number k - ε model with an option for the compressibility correction is also used. Comparison with the experimental data indicates that incorporation of the compressibility correction to the k - ε model gives the best overall prediction.
