POLES DELIVERED TO MOUNT TAMBORINE

INGAL EPS recently secured a contract with Energex to design, manufacture and deliver 12 poles up to 50m in height to Mount Tamborine Queensland. The poles carry power to a new substation at the top of Mount Tamborine. Environmental considerations played a major role in the selection of steel poles for the site. The project is unusual in the aspect that the poles are very tall for only a 33/11kV power transmission line. Due to the environmental sensitivity of the area, conductor cables were suspended above the top of the tree line. Only the immediate working area surrounding each pole location was cleared.
