Colombia’s state-controlled Ecopetrol said it reached an agreement with oil workers union USO that allows the company to revive a stalled project to upgrade the 250,000 b/d Barrancabermeja refinery. “This agreement establishes conditions for the legal and successful execution of the project and positively impacts the quality of life for workers and their families,” Ecopetrol said.
