Intertek Awarded BQ-9000 Certification by National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission

Global quality and safety auditing firm Intertek announced May 8 that its biofuels laboratory in Romeoville, Ill. has been granted BQ-9000 certification by the National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission (NBAC). The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) oversees the accreditation program, which is a cooperative and voluntary biodiesel quality control program for biodiesel producers, marketers and laboratories. BQ-9000 is open to biodiesel manufacturers, marketers, distributors, blenders, and laboratories in the U.S. and Canada.
