Cytotaxonomical Diagnostics of Species from the GenusCricotopus(Chironomidae, Diptera)

The structure of the polytene chromosomes in the salivary gland of two hard for distinguishing speciesCricotopus silvestrisFabricius andCricotopus ornatusMeigen was studied. For the both salivary chromosomes mapes are worked out. Using the karyological analysis is established the hybrid origin of the speciesCricotopus silvestris.
