摘要

The effects of cypermethrin on the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and catalase (CAT), and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in liver and kidney tissues of Oreochromis niloticus and Cyprinus carpio, were investigated. The relationship between antioxidant enzyme activities and lipid peroxidation against oxidative stress in insecticide and species was also studied. Male O. niloticus and C. carpio were obtained from the culture pools in the University of Cukurova in Turkey. Exposure of C. carpio to cypermethrin caused a decrease in liver activity. There were also increases in GPx activity in the liver and kidney of O. niloticus and in the kidney of C. carpio.
