Kinesix, which already enjoys a well-established reputation for providing control room solutions for the oil and gas pipeline industry, satellite tracking and other high-profile applications including the Space Shuttle programme, is looking to make major inroads into the traffic management field with the launch of its new Microsoft Windows-based KX EDGE (Enterprise Developer's Graphical Environment) front-end management package. The KX EDGE development suite is an outgrowth of Kinesix's highly successful Sammi product. It allows users to display real-time data and highly complex vector graphics across hundreds or even thousands of workstations - effectively, wherever the information is needed within an organisation, says Kinesix's CEO Russ Jamerson.
