摘要

A field experiment was conducted in the kharif season of the year, 2013. The Research Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur is situated in mid-eastern part of Chhattisgarh on an soil (Vertisol) is fine montmorillonite, hyperthermic, udicchromustert, locally called as Kanhar and is identified as Arang II series. The study on nitrogen use efficiency of lowland rice (Mahamaya). The result found that N use efficiency was higher when applied less amount of fertilizer as compared to more amount applied of fertilizer and production efficiency of N as highest in 50% RDF+GM treated plot and it was noted that positive relationship observed between higher soil fertility level and grain yield of rice over control. So that application of combined sources, there is less likelihood of losses of N through soil-plant system as compared to urea alone treatments. The integrated nutrient management practice sustained the soil fertility and soil health.
