Tokyo Day Aqua Tunnel, that is the longest marine tunnel in the world, is equipped with various facilities to cope with automobile fire accidents inside the tunnel. Ventilation system, observation system, evacuation system, power system, and telecommunication system are indispensable for its safety. These systems have been developed with the art-of-technology and human's very new ideas. This paper presents them with easy explanations.
