Beijing: Many Fortune 500 companies have obtained market access in China by entering into special deals with major Chinese companies so that each side treats the other as a favoured partner for sourcing goods and services and setting up joint ventures. But this kind of arrangement has so far eluded Indian companies trying to obtain a foothold in China.
