Trainer The Balint group; a precious resource or simply tree-hugging?

General practice can be an isolating experience. Some consultations can leave you asking questions such as: who is the patient? Am I being manipulated? Or leave you feeling powerless, controlled, angry, disheartened, demoralized or even useless. The Balint group is where you can share these emotions and get (usually) sensible, objective and supportive guidance, sometimes with the blessing of a psychotherapist.
