Wilton covers Madagascar

Wilton Petroleum has become the latest firm to take acreage in upstream hopeful Madagascar.The firm has been awarded Block 2102 in the onshore Majunga Basin with a 100% interest. The company also has an application pending for neighbouring Block 2101.Wilton will have access to more than 12,000sq km in the heart of Madagascar's onshore Majunga Basin. The licence is for eight years divided into three phases. There is no drilling commitment during the first two-year phase.
