Geopark completes Chile double

Geopark Holdings has successfully drilled and tested the Alakaluf 2 and Alakaluf 3 wells on the Fell Block in Chile. The operator has 100% working interest in the block. A production test in the Springhill formation at the Alakaluf 2 well flowed at a rate of 7.6 MMcf/d (215.3 Mcm/d) of gas, while a test at the Alakaluf 3 well flowed at a rate of 234 b/d of oil, reported Reuters.
