Total is quickly drilling an appraisal well on a discovery in Block 32 offshore Angola to try and firm up a three-field commercial development.The company is already drilling the appraisal on the Gengibre-1 find which was made earlier this year in a water depth of 5,587ft (1,703m). The well tested at a rate of 4,724 b/d of oil from a single structure. Gengibre is in the east of the block and 17km southwest of the previously announced Gindungo find, and 12km west of the Canela find.
