ATP Oil & gas is mulling development scenarios for its Cheviot field in the UK sector of the North Sea, the company said.The company said it plans to "devote considerable attention in 2005"to evaluating the potential of the field (formerly known as Emerald), which was shut down in 1996 after producing 16m bbl of oil through an FPSO. Output was as much as 6,600 b/d when the field was taken off line.
