Landlords who let commercial buildings are facing an increasingly competitive environment in terms of the facilities and services that they are expected to offer. It is no longer enough to provide a shell in which to do business. Tenants demand in-built intelligence to create a sophisticated environment that is both smart and secure, equipped with a complete range of networked technologies to support business in the 21st century. Landlords are responding by harnessing networks to run state-of-the-art technologies including wireless, broadband, smartcards, access control, vehicle monitoring, cashless vending, videoconferencing, IP CCTV security, alarm management, environmental monitoring and much more. These solutions can vastly expand the services available in buildings and larger centres - and the market appeal of the property.
