Talisman eyes Big Wolf

Det norske said it expects a boost to its oil outpu after successful results from the new production well (A-10A) drilled by operator Talisman on the Varg field offshore Norway. The new well has lifted total output from the field to more than 26,000 b/d, up from about 11,600 b/d in the third quarter 2009.
