摘要

Reservoir drainage and injection patterns in Norway's largest oilfield are mapped using high-resolution time-lapse seismic technology. Much has been written about the Ekofisk field since its discovery in 1969. Lying in the Norwegian North Sea Blocks 2/4 and 2/7, about 200 miles (320 km) southwest of Stavanger in approximately 230 ft (70 m) of water, the field has produced continuously since 1971. The field comprises a vast complex of platforms and structures.
