Chevron's Vietnam boost

A well drilled in the Malay Basin offshore Vietnam by Chevron has found even more gas,boosting the prospect to at least 5 Tcf(141.6 Bcm)of gas - with development work just needing final talks to progress.The US operator has finished a three-month drilling programme on Blocks B,48/95 and 52/97 that lie 300km off Vietnam,which extends the potential of the Chevron-operated development area further to the north than had been previously tested.
