Brazil's state-owned Petrobras is gearing up to invest around US 5 Bn in deepwater oil field developments,building new ships and hiring rigs.Petrobras will spend 5 Bn to build 146 ships and plans to hire 40 deepwater drilling rigs and platforms,president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva told shipbuilders in Niteroi,near Rio de Janeiro.
