Legacy in the built environment and care of the natural environment is something that we all need to be mindful of when designing and constructing new buildings. As awareness of the importance of carbon reduction and sustainability grows, there is an ever-changing list of requirements to take into account. Whilst the process can never be 100% sustainable, careful planning and management from the very start can help ensure regulatory requirements are met and any subsequent commercial impact is included within a schemes cost plan.
