San Leon bags five Italy blocks

San Leon Energy has been awarded five Italian blocks - three offshore Sicily and two in the Po Valley in northern Italy.The three Sicilian blocks are: D352 CR-SL, an area comprising 358.5sq km located west of Sicily in the Canal Zone C south of the Egadi Islands; D353 CR-SL, an area covering 226.2sq km located southwest of Sicily, also in the Canal Zone C; and D354 CR-SL, which covers 482.5sq km, southwest of Sicily and near the coast in the Canal Zone C. The Po Valley permits are called Sorbola and Sospiro, said San Leon. Sorbolo covers 302sq km and lies in the Emilia Romagna region in the Parma-Reggio Province, while Sospiro covers 451sq km in the Lombardia region in the Brescia- Cremona-Mantova Province.
