Ithaca picks up Stena Spey

Ithaca Energy has booked the Stena Spey semi-submersible rig to drill a second appraisal well on the North Sea Athena oil project.The well, which will spud in the next week or so, will evaluate the eastern lobe of the Athena discovery, in a bid to firm up the size of the field and identify the best development concept.
