Various Government Departments in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland frequently issue consultations to invite comments from industry and the public in respect of proposed changes to legislation and policy. The Association responds to these consultations based upon comments received from members, and generally the responses submitted are given due consideration when the proposals are developed. It is important that you take part in this process by letting the Association know your views, particularly as members working in different sectors of the market may have differing views, and the ABE has to represent all of these interests.
