Growing by leaps and bounds: Geokinetics continues its growth spurt with its purchase of PGS Onshore

Five years ago Geokinetics was Geophysical Development Corp., a seismic processing shop, and Quantum Geophysical, operating two crews in the US. Then the shopping spree began. In December of 2005 it bought Trace Energy, which opened up the Canadian market and enhanced the company's US presence. Less than a year later it acquired Grant Geophysical, giving it a worldwide presence.
