Treatments cure the problem

Many solutions providers are satisfied treating problem symptoms in oil and gas wells. But a long-lasting solution addresses the root cause of a problem, often solving it for good. Coiled tubing (CT) technology has been around for more than 45 years. Growing steadily from its inception, it has been deployed in some form around the globe - a truly valuable and proven tool in the industry. Originally developed to facilitate seemingly simple tasks (at least from today's perspective) such as fill cleanouts under pressure or kicking off wells by jetting nitrogen into the flow stream, today's CT applications have been extended to include very complex well drilling and stimulation applications. Nevertheless, even as sophisticated as CT technology has become, one of the original seemingly simple tasks of fill cleanouts accounts for more than 25% of the global utilization of CT and amounts to USD475 million annually.
