摘要

A popular saying that makes its rounds every decade or so points out that a man who is up to his assets in alligators finds it difficult to remember that his initial objective was to drain the swamp. Having begun my oilfield career in the bayou country of South Louisiana I can relate to alligators, and empathize with anyone finding himself wading through a passel of those nasty critters.
