Bird Brick Houses is dedicated to providing a highly effective, tested and cost effective solution to lessen the building industry's impact on biodiversity/bird life. Duncan and Jenny McCutchan have combined their 25 years in the building trade with a deep passion for wildlife; in particular helping to restore the balance between human impact and wildlife habitats. For 11 years they have installed and monitored barn owl nest boxes in East Sussex and have watched how modern building styles offer dwindling opportunities for wildlife. Bird Brick Houses was established to help reverse this trend.
