Maersk takes Esbjerg option

Maersk has exercised the second of two six-month options available to keep the Safe Esbjerg accommodation jackup in the Danish sector of the North Sea. The value of the six-month option period is about US $10.6m and it will start in immediate continuation from the existing firm period through until June 2009.
