StatoilHydro has hit pay in its Pan/Pandora exploration well,which was drilled to the south of the Visund field in the Norwegian Sea.The wildcat well 34/8-14 S proved gas and oil in the upper sections of the Brent group.The purpose of the well was to prove petroleum in Middle Jurassic reservoir rocks.
