The North West Region of ABE hosted the above training event in Leigh. The event was chaired by the North West Region Chairman, Syd Cottle MBEng, and presented by Mervyn Kirk FBEng, Market Development Manager of Isothane Ltd. Energy Efficiency of homes is a huge issue for all social landlords, housing providers and homeowners. With fuel poverty now affecting one in three families, and with tough carbon reduction targets set by the Government to combat climate change, the issue has never been higher up the agenda.
