Japanese oil products stocks edged up 1.1% to 78.74 million bbl in the week ended Jul. 18, according to data from the Petroleum Association of Japan. The increase was led by gas oil, with stocks up 4.7% to almost 11 million bbl, followed by a 3.9% increase in naphtha inventories to 10.8 million bbl. The only falls were seen in gasoline and fuel oil, with gasoline stocks down by 1.7% and fuel oil by 1.9%.
