Oil industry executives called on Tuesday for consistent rules and tax policies in host countries to encourage investment in the development of oil and gas resources. Royal Dutch Shell Chief Executive Peter Voser told the International Energy Business Forum (IEBF) in Cancun, Mexico, that if countries provide a predictable and consistent framework for investment, then companies will provide the necessary technology, capital and knowledge.
