India's Jubilant Lists on AIM

Indian upstream player Jubilant Energy said on Thursday it has raised $85 million after listing on London's junior Alternative Investment Market (AIM). It added that the money will be used to help fund exploration and development work and for general busi- ness purposes. Jubilant has been working upstream since 1995. It has interests in nine blocks across In- dia's prolific Krishna-Godavari, Cambay, Cau- very and Assam-Arakan hydrocarbon basins, and one exploration block in Australia's Bass Basin. Seven of the Indian tracts are in various stages of appraisal and exploration, one is un- der appraisal and development and one is the 2,000 b/d producing Kharsang field near the Myanmar border in northeastern India. Jubi- lant operates six of these blocks.
